Farm Rich Appetizer Review and Giveaway

When Farm Rich asked me to review one of their appetizers, my first thought was to run out and grab a bag of their mozzarella sticks, because I love mozzarella sticks almost as much as I love fried pickles. But I figured I might as well broaden my horizons and give this review an honest try. So I snatched up a bag of their Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers.

Farm Rich promotes their product on the premise that Farm Rich is always there for moms, providing wholesome, easy-to-prepare snacks. Their home page reads, "Welcome to your keep 'em happy place. Looking for ways to keep your kids, hubby, and friends happy? Want a time out from the day-to-day craziness? Well, you've come to the right place." And so I shall base my review on these great and lofty claims.

The day I chose to serve the mini cheeseburgers was a very hectic, stressful weekend afternoon. Aaron was attempting to work on the new busy bag website (hopefully coming soon!!), and I was trying to get some good photos for the website. The kids, in the meantime, were in less than a good mood. It was a cold rainy day, and they were restless. I figured it was a good day to test the "easy-to-prepare" and the "keep 'em happy".

Easy-to-prepare: Yes, very. I just arranged them on a foil lined cookie sheet (so I wouldn't have to wash it afterward) and popped 'em in my oven. In less than 20 minutes, they were ready to serve.

Keep 'em happy: Eh, not so much. Maybe it's just because my kids are still at a young, semi-picky age, but they were not all that thrilled with them. Neither was my husband. I thought they were good, but not good enough to purchase them again. I'm really wishing I had just gotten meat balls or mozzarella sticks or french toast sticks... something I know the kids would have enjoyed... or at least I would have. Ha ha.

Farm Rich has offered to give two of my readers a coupon for a free (up to $4.99) Farm Rich product. With 16 products to choose from, you should be able to find one that you might like to try. Then you can test the "keep 'em happy" for yourself.
